You can try the manual for other stuff too. Analog, operator, colision, electric, tension and sampler have this setting avaiable. If it's only playing one note at the time then its pretty sure it's in monophonic mode. Live instruments have a setting named 'Voices' where you can increase the polyphony. I got here by simple search and best guess. Please suggest if there is newb place on forum for such matter, so I don't post where grownups work. Please explain me gently (since I didn't find a book 'DAW for dummies') why I get some generic Live instruments in vast polyphony, while others can not play even two notes at once? Is there a setting for this (I have searched all possible settings I've found)? If not, how can I adjust polyphony? Should I use instruments from VST plugins that don't have polyphony limitations? How can you tell? I know I have to take this annoying learning curve to get the clear picture, but now I'm stuck at step one -practical playing. The universality of DAW tipped the decision, and here I am. It was very tight decision between getting me a good hardware synth (like Korg M3) or upgrade step by step with common DAW system.
